The Inspire Camp Out is an intimate gathering happening on 22nd to 26th July at one of Somerset’s best loved family run farms.

It’s a collaboration with Campfire Convention, the community and social network set up by Pete Lawrence, co-founder of The Big Chill music and arts festival.

The event will be a co-creation between the organisers and everyone who attends, without a divide between audience and performers, allowing anyone to stand up, tell a story, sing a song or create a space for others to enjoy. We want to create a space where everyone can come together to share, learn, create and connect. We believe that everyone has a gift and the more we share our gifts with one another the better so have a think about what silly or serious passions/interests you’d enjoy sharing in an informal talk, workshop or live performance.

That said, we will have a number of pre-organised sessions throughout the four days from established experts who will be leading musical performances, morning yoga, family bushcraft, toddler spaces, singing circles and outdoor crafts. During the Camp Out you’ll be able to suggest sessions that you can lead – so have a think about what would excite you and come with an idea! There is no selection process or audition – if you have an idea you can take over one of our spaces and do it.

Our amazing farm venue is 35 – 45 minutes drive from Bristol, Bath, Frome and Glastonbury.

Fernhill Farm has two communal kitchen, a large barn area for evening entertainment, the Campfire Convention indoor adult space for talks and entertainment, a wellbeing yurt, kids space, indoor toilets, electricity and showers.

More than ever, we need new models for living in a radically changing world. We have a unique opportunity to build a resilient community from the grass roots with the potential to transform humanity and evolve our world. Let’s be the change we’d like to see happen and come together to create our own magic.
